This hotel's "chief asset" is its "superb" address "across from the beach" and surrounded by shopping, "tons of restaurants" and "Santa Monica nightlife" – but its peerless location is also its biggest drawback, since an adjacent freeway spews "unendurable" "traffic noise" into rooms and the pool area day and night; "clean" accommodations have "tasteful decor", the staff is "friendly", WiFi is free – and though the "parking fee is a bit much" there are "a number of convenient parking garages" nearby.

Its location to the beach, shops, freeway. Service was good. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable.
Limited parking spaces to park my rental car.

The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The room was average but comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The 2 locations for hotel parking were small and difficult to maneuver. Old hotel, poor layout outrageous parking cost.

Overall very clean although you still had the feel that it was old. We had no idea our room would actually be right next to the freeway. It was hard to sleep. Tear down your hotel and build a new one, I felt I was in a motel. ...read more
